Atomlab Line Cord:
The line cord for the AL 960 is non-detachable. If it should become damaged, a qualified
service technician should be called to repair or replace it.
The following describes the procedure for replacing the line cord on the AL960.
1. Unplug the AL960 line cord from the wall receptacle.
2. Remove the transformer cover plate.
3. Remove the earth ground from the chassis ground stud.
4. Remove the line and neutral conductors from the line side of the circuit breaker.
5. Loosen the gland nut on the heyco strain relief located where the line cord enters the
AL960 cart.
6. Carefully pull the old line cord out of the transformer compartment and through the heyco
in the AL 960 chassis.
7. Reverse the order of these instructions and reassemble with new power cord.
