AIR CONDITIONING BELT
This machine may be equipped with Air Conditioning.
Belt Adjustment
The air conditioning belt is a special maintenance free
t
ype that is pretensioned over the pulleys. This belt
eliminates the need for a tensioning device and does not
require periodic adjustment. Contact your Bobcat dealer
for replacement parts.
Belt Replacement
Stop the engine and open the rear door. (See REAR
DOOR (TAILGATE) on Page 116.)

Remove the bottom air conditioning compressor
m
ounting bolt (Item 1) [Figure 255].
Loosen the top air conditioning compressor mounting nut
a
nd bolt (Item 2) [Figure 255].
Move the air conditioning compressor toward the engine
as f
ar as it will go and remove the belt from the pulleys.
Inspect the pulleys for wear.
Install new belt.

Insert a 1/2 in. breaker bar (Item 1) [Figure 256] into the
square opening provided in the air conditioning
comp
ressor bracket as shown. Move the breaker bar
down until the bottom air conditioning compressor
mounting bolt (Item 1) [Figure 255] can be installed.
Tighten the mounting nut and bolts (Items 1 and 2)
[Figure 255].
Close the rear door.
