Mounting support tube extensions

If the auger widths exceed 6.50 m, an auger crossbeam extension must be mounted.
- Loosen the clamping bolts (1) on the support tube. Then turn in the centre expan-
sion bolt (2) to expand the clamping joint.
- Pull the telescopic tube (3a) approx. 150 cm out of the support tube (4).

Danger of injuries! Do not pull the telescopic tube too far out of the support tube, as
otherwise it can fall down!
- The support tube extension (4) of the auger crossbeam consists of two halves. Put
the upper and lower part over the telescopic tube and bolt together with the support
tube using the relevant assembly parts (5).
- Bolt the two extension parts together using the relevant assembly parts (6). Only
tighten the bolts lightly on the clamping piece (7).
- Mount the required extension parts.
- Set the bolt (8) to prevent the telescopic tube from twisting.
- Clamp the telescopic tube by tightening the bolts on the clamping piece (7).
