Remove the socket head cap screw plug
(A) on the gear neck and replace the
screw located underneath with an
M10x1 grease nipple. Using a grease
gun, inject 10 strokes into it.

Remove the grease nipple and screw
both screws back in.
The gear bearing is sealed underneath
and lubricated only with grease.
