Chapter 8: Sound Management Creating Custom Recordings
5. In the right viewport, select the check box next to each sound that
you want to import. You can import more than one sound at a time.
6. Select the OK button to close the User Files menu.
7. After the sound is imported, it will be highlighted in the viewport of
the Play Sound... menu.
8. Select the OK button. The Play Sound... menu will close. In the
Modify Button menu, next to the Record Message button, you will
see text similar to this: [Recorded: xxx]. (xxx is the name of the
recording).
9. Select the OK button to close the Modify Button menu.
2 Note: If the sound is not stored in the Sounds folder, select the Show All
Directories check box, then select the storage device icon in the left
viewport (UMS_FOLDER for a USB storage device or Storage
Card2 for a secondary storage card) and navigate to the folder
where the sound is stored.
2 Note: If there is not enough free space on your data storage card to
import the new file(s), an alert window will appear to inform you.
Select the OK button to close the window. In this case, you must
free space on your data storage card before importing the file(s).
2 Note: If you are importing a sound that has the same name as a sound
that already exists on your device, you will be asked if you want to
overwrite it. If you answer Yes, the existing sound file could be
incorrectly replaced on any buttons that feature that sound name.
Answering No will import sound(s) that have unique names, but will
not import any sounds that share the same name as sounds
currently stored on your MightyMo/MiniMo device.
2 Note: If you imported more than one sound, you will have to select the
sound in the viewport that you want to assign to the button.
