12.8.3 Check Hydraulic Tank Breather Filter

High Hydraulic Oil Pressure
Working on the hydraulic system involves a high risk of personal injury.
u Make sure that the system is de-pressurized before starting any work.
The breather filter equalizes the pressure differences in the tank that would otherwise arise
when the level in the tank changes.

Check breather filter (A) for clogging.

NOTE: If the hydraulic tank is overfilled, hydraulic oil covers the
breather filter and ruins it. Breather filter must be replaced if it is
clogged or found contaminated.
12.8.4 Replace Breather Filter
Replace the filter as per the maintenance schedule or if the tank is overfilled and the filter
gets covered in oil.
