12.3 Track Arming
Track arming from System 5 is controlled in the Machine Setup Panel (Figure 12-5).
Press the Machine Setup button from the Main Panel. The Record in Motion,
Track Arm in Motion, On Transport Stop, and Arm While Stopped each have
two, mutually exclusive settings.
The serial port of the TT002 (v3.0x or newer software) can provide up to 48 channels of
track arming. Track arming and record tally information is sent to the console and is
used to generate a true track status tally on the surface (top of CM402T and record pad-
dles in CM403):
• flashing = armed
• solid = recording
