Each Conform operation adds a new pass to the Pass Tree. To undo the Conform opera-
tion, return to the pass prior to the pass just created (Section 14.13.2 - Mix Passes).
After the Conform operation, the notes remain displayed in the Conform screen. Be
careful to avoid clicking the Conform button again as this will mis-align the data. If the
button is clicked twice by mistake, undo the second Conform operation.
Executing the Conform Operation
After all notes have been entered and verified, press the Conform button at the bottom-
center of the screen. The Execute Conform dialog box appears (Figure 14-17) to confirm
you wish to proceed. This realigns the automation with the edited film.
14.13.4 Reel Balancing
During the course of mixing a program (film, video, etc.), the program may be re-edited,
requiring that a scene from one reel be moved to another reel.
Each reel normally has its own Emix title.
To accomplish this, the console automation for the moved scene in one title must also be
moved into the title of the other reel.
The Mv2Buf and Paste operation types are used for this purpose.
Use the Mv2Buf operation to delete the moved scene automation into the clipboard
buffer. Open the title of the reel that has the moved scene in it. At the starting location
of the moved scene, excecute the Paste operation, then the Conform operation.
