Consumables
You can check the status of consumables in the [Consumables] screen. The status of
consumables is shown as "Ready", "Replace Soon", or "Replace Now". For toner, the
amount is shown, from 0 to 100%.
The following describes the procedure for checking the status of consumables.
For information about how to replace consumables, refer to "Replacing Consumables" (P.456).
1 Press the <Machine Status>
button.
2 Select the [Consumables] tab.
Note • Select [ ] to display the
previous screen and select
[ ] to display the next screen.
Important • If using a partly consumed toner cartridge (for example a toner cartridge removed from
another DocuCentre 9000 unit or Document Centre 1100/900 unit), the indicated status
may not match the actual amount of consumable remaining. When replacing toner
cartridges, as far as possible the use of new items is recommended.
