4.8.3 Back Gauge Paddle
Procedure
Deep or angled deep punches may be caused by a broken weld on the Paddle [1]
shaft. Inspect the Paddle and press down on it while holding the linkage to keep
the linkage from moving. If the paddle moves [2], replace the Back Gauge
assembly.
