1.4.12 Idler Roller Inspection and Cleaning
Idler rollers press against the drive rollers and move the paper through the bypass
[1] or the punch [2].
Maintenance Schedule
Inspect and clean every 750K cycles.
Replace idler rollers every 2000K cycles. See Page 4-13.
Procedure
Inspect rollers for wear patterns or groves. The roller surface should be even and
have a textured surface. Where practical, remove the roller assembly to clean [3].
