1.4.13 Drive Roller Inspection and Cleaning

Drive rollers are located opposite the idler rollers.

Maintenance Schedule

Inspect and clean every 750K cycles.

Procedure

Inspect for wear patterns or groves. The roller surface should be even and not

glazed.

Some drive rollers are not easily accessible. Those that are [1], should be

inspected and cleaned when the idler rollers are removed. Where practical, make

sure the rollers are clean. Clean with a soft cloth and alcohol. See also “Idler
