4.2 Software License (service software)
NOTE: You can download the software only onto one monitor. During the downloading of
software the serial number of the monitor is written on the software card, and if the loading for
some reason would fail, the software can be downloaded again onto the same monitor, but
not onto any other monitor.
Keyboard partly not working. 1. Keyboard faulty.
2. Connector Board faulty
1. Replace the keyboard foil.
2. Replace the Connector Board.
'Display temperature high' and
'Check dust filter' messages.
The temperature inside the display unit
has been more than 55 °C for two
minutes at the minimum.
Check and change the dust filter if
necessary.
'Battery temperature high' and
'Check dust filter' messages.
The temperature of the batteries is more
than 53 °C.
Check and change the dust filter if
necessary.
Display Unit is too warm. Display Unit Fan is not working. Check the Fan cable is connected to the
correct connector.
After shut off, the trend and patient
data does not remain 15 min in the
memory.
The On/Stby switch has been pressed for
over 10 s. (= service reset)
When switching off, the On/Stby switch
has to be pressed for less than 10 s.
Trouble Cause Treatment
New software is not downloaded or
Start-up display does not appear in
80 seconds.
1. The software card is not properly
inserted.
2. The software card does not contain
proper software.
1. Check the software card’s connection
in drive.
2. Check that correct software card is
inserted in drive.
The software serial number in the
Service view is not correct after
downloading.
The software has not been downloaded
correctly.
Check the software card’s connection in
drive.
Try downloading once again.
Try with an other software card.
