Tip
Press the NEXT button at the top right edge of the
display to scroll through the setting screens: TIMER1,
TIMER2 and DATE/TIME.
TIMER1 and TIMER2
To program TIMER1 or TIMER2, begin by choosing
direction in the MODE line. By default, UP = forward
count-up and DOWN = backwards countdown.
To proceed without setting an alarm, skip to the Start/
Stop Timer1 and Timer2 section (page 77).
Alarm function
An alarm function can be activated for a forward-count-
ing and backward-counting timer by setting the de-
sired time-frame in the minute and/or second field in
the ALARM line. A warning beep will sound during the
last 20 seconds of the set duration so that users do
not have to continuously monitor the display during
flight.
Acoustic Signal Sequence
20 s before zero: 2 beeps
Single beep every 2 seconds
10 s before zero: single beep
Single beep every second with a
changed pitch
5 s before zero: single beep every second with re-
duced frequency
Zero: voice trigger
To set the desired time period, press the left minute
field:

Timer
The mz-24 PRO comes with two forward/backward
timers, alarm, battery and model timers and a date/
time clock.
There are four ways to access the BASE submenu
Timer. Press the battery/model timer on the left side
of the main menu to bring up the battery/model set-
ting screen. Press and hold either of the two large
forward/backward timers on the right side of the main
menu to bring up the timer displays (top timer for Tim-
er1, bottom timer for Timer2). Or press the green gear
icon at the bottom of the screen to bring up the BASE
submenu. Press the Timer icon to bring up the timer
display.
