Warning Displays
There are two warning systems in the mz-24 Pro
HoTT transmitter. Active warning pop-up screens
appear if receiver and transmitter operation statuses
are not detected or are incorrect. System warnings
appear as highlighted data information that require
immediate attention.
Active Warning Display
These warnings will only appear if the function is ac-
tive via the ON buttons in the SYSTEM submenu
Warning (page 210).
These warning windows primarily appear after the
transmitter is turned on. In the example below, the
red dot after Thr.POS indicates that the throttle ser-
vo connected to Output 1 (fixed-wing models), or the
throttle servo and to Output 6 (helicopter model), is
not in the idle position, risking a runaway engine. Until
the throttle/pitch is corrected, no other information or
buttons will appear in the warning box:

Notice
Do not use the Servo Reverse option on Channel
6 (helicopters) and Channel 1 (all other model
types) to reverse the control stick direction. The
Thr.POS and Thr.HOLD warning systems are not
equipped to recognize changes made via that option.
Instead, reverse the control direction using the Pitch
Curve (helicopters models) or Throttle Curve (all other
model types) menus (pages 154 and 160 respectively).
If a receiver is not detected by the transmitter, the
warning window will display the message: "No re-
ceiver bound to TX!". Press the SET button to go
directly to the BASE submenu TX ctl (transmitter set-
tings) to link the receiver to the model memory:

Or touch the BACK button at the top left to exit and
return to the basic display menu.
If a receiver is bound and saved into the model mem-
ory, and there is an inactive Thr.POS warning, the RF
module will automatically turn on with the transmitter.
Otherwise, the following warning display will appear,
and an acoustic warning will sound:

Press the ON button to maintaining the RF transmis-
sions, or switch them off by tapping the OFF button.
If no action is taken this screen automatically disap-
pears after a few seconds.
Additional warning messages may appear in the field
between the two green lines. For example, the mes-
sage "RC signal" indicates the transmitter is set to
normal remote control, "TEACH signal" or "PUPIL
signal" indicate student/trainer settings, and "Fail
safe not set" indicates that fail-safe settings have not
been programmed.
Notices
• The Active Warning Display is monitored by
the options found in the SYSTEM submenu
Warning (page 210).
• To set a reminder to turn on the fail-safe func-
tions, select the REV option in the Throttle
Hold line of the SYSTEM submenu Warning
(page 210).
