Parameters Meaning
Available Interfaces Displays the interfaces that are available for the "Firewall Learning Mode"
function.
Selected Interfaces
(max. %i)
Specifies the interfaces that the "Firewall Learning Mode" function is
actively monitoring. The maximum number of interfaces that the device
can monitor is
4
.
Button Meaning
< Moves the entries highlighted in the "Available Interfaces" field to the
"Selected Interfaces (max. %i)" field. Only active routing interfaces can be
selected for the "Firewall Learning Mode" function.
> Moves the entries highlighted in the field to the "Selected Interfaces (max.
%i)" field to the "Available Interfaces" field.
Start Starts the learning phase. The device filters the data packets on the active
interfaces.
Stop Stops the learning phase.
Continue Continues the learning phase from a previous session, without clearing
the memory.
Clear Clears the memory. Learned data can be cleared only when the "Firewall
Learning Mode" function is stopped.
Create Rule Opens the wizard to assist you in specifying a new rule.
Edit Rule Opens the wizard to assist you in changing an existing rule.
Remove Rule Deletes highlighted rule.
Set Transfers the changes to the volatile memory (
RAM
) of the device and
applies them to the device. To save the changes in the non-volatile
memory, proceed as follows:
Open the
Basic Settings > Load/Save
dialog.
In the table, highlight the desired configuration profile.
If in the "Selected" column the checkbox is
unmarked
, click the
"Select" button.
Click the "Save" button.
Reload Updates the fields with the values that are saved in the volatile memory
(
RAM
) of the device.
Help Opens the online help.
