4.4.1 Configuration
The tab allows you to enable the "Firewall Learning Mode" function. The
device monitors up to 4 interfaces to discover what type of data traverses the
port into you network.

Parameters Meaning
Operation Enables/disables the "Firewall Learning Mode" function.
Possible values:
 "On"
The "Firewall Learning Mode" function is enabled.
 "Off" (default setting)
The "Firewall Learning Mode" function is disabled.
Parameters Meaning
Status Displays the state of the running "Firewall Learning Mode" application.
Possible values:
 Off
The function is inactive.
 No data present. Select an interface and start the
learning mode.
 Stopped. Check rules data.
The device stopped the learning mode. Check the "Rules" tab for
learned data.
 Learning…
The device is learning data.
 Busy, please wait.
The device is busy processing learned data.
Information Displays the status of "Firewall Learning Mode" application memory.

Information
Displays a special status message.
Learned Entries Displays the number of Layer 3 entries in the connection table.
Free Memory for
learning Data [%]
Displays the percentage of free memory available for learning data.
