With this dialog you can display device properties and monitor individual 
operating statuses.
 Device Status
The fields in this frame display the device status and inform you about 
alarms that have occurred. You specify the parameters that the device 
monitors in the 
Diagnostics > Status Configuration > Device Status
 
dialog.
Note: The device reports an alarm if you connect one power supply unit 
exclusively for the supply voltage to a device with multiple ports. To avoid 
this alarm, you deactivate the monitoring of the missing power supply 
units in the 
Diagnostics > Status Configuration > Device Status
 
dialog.
Parameters Meaning
Symbol Displays the device status.
Possible values:
The device status is OK. The monitored parameters have the 
desired status.
An alarm has occurred. At least one monitored parameter differs 
from the desired status.
Alarm Counter Displays the number of current alarms.
Alarm Reason Displays the cause of the alarm and the time at which the device triggered 
the alarm. If the "Alarm Counter" displays more than 
1
 alarm, use the 
arrow buttons to call up the other alarm states.
Possible values:
 Cause of the event (Date and time in the format 
Month, Day, Year 
hh:mm:ss AM/PM
).
The device triggers an alarm if a monitored parameter differs from the 
desired status. In the 
Diagnostics > Status Configuration > Device 
Status
 dialog the parameters are sorted by priority: High priority at the top, 
low priority at the bottom.
