Button Meaning
Set Transfers the changes to the volatile memory (
RAM
) of the device and
applies them to the device. To save the changes in the non-volatile
memory, proceed as follows:
Open the
Basic Settings > Load/Save
dialog.
In the table, highlight the desired configuration profile.
If in the "Selected" column the checkbox is
unmarked
, click the
"Select" button.
Click the "Save" button.
Reload Updates the fields with the values that are saved in the volatile memory
(
RAM
) of the device.
Create Open the "Create" dialog and add a new entry to the table.
In the "Index" field, you specify the number of the rule.
Possible values:
–
1..32
When you click the "Ok" button, the device creates the new table entry
and assigns the number specified in the "Index" field to the entry.
Copy Open the "Create" dialog, copy an existing table entry, and save it under
a different index number.
The prerequisite is that you mark the table entry for the rule to be copied.
In the "Index" field, you specify the number of the rule.
Possible values:

1..32
When you click the "Ok" button, the device creates the new table entry and
assigns the number specified in the "Index" field to the entry.
Function Code
Configurator
Opens the "Function Code Configurator" dialog for defining or changing
the function code list.
The prerequisite is that a table entry is marked. If a value other than
advanced
is specified in the "Function Type" column, the "Modbus
Enforcer" function changes the value to
advanced
.
Commit Changes The device applies the specified rules to the data stream.
If you have changed the value in the "Function Type" field, the device
applies the change to the "Function Code" list and refreshes the display in
the "Function Code" column.
Remove Removes the highlighted DPI Modbus Enforcer rule from the table. To
save the changes in the non-volatile memory, proceed as follows:
Open the
Basic Settings > Load/Save
dialog.
In the table, highlight the desired configuration profile.
If in the "Selected" column the checkbox is
unmarked
, click the
"Select" button.
Click the "Save" button.
If you mark the "Profile Active" checkbox for the rule, the device stops you
from removing the rule.
