Parameters Meaning
URL Specifies the file path to the certificate which the certification authority has
issued for the authentication server. The device accepts only Base64-
coded X.509 certificates in the PEM format.
The device gives you the following options for copying the certificate to the
device:
Import from the PC
If the certificate is on your PC or on a network drive, click the " … "
button and select the file that contains the certificate.
You also have the option of transferring the certificate from your PC to
the device through SFTP or SCP:
On your PC, open an SFTP or SCP client, e.g. WinSCP.
Use the SFTP or SCP client to open a connection to the device.
Transfer the certificate file to the directory
/upload/ldapcert
on
the device.
When the file transfer is complete, the device starts installing the
certificate. If the installation was successful, the device creates in
the directory
ok
an
/upload/ldapcert
file and deletes the
certificate file.
Displays the "Open" dialog. Here you select the certificate file to be copied
if the file is located on your PC or on a network drive.
Import Copies the certificate specified in the "URL" field to the device.
Parameters Meaning
Index Displays a sequential number which identifies the server.
Description Specifies the description. If you wish, you describe the authentication
server here or note additional information.
Possible values:
Alphanumeric ASCII character string with 0..255 characters
