Troubleshooting
Introduction
Hypertherm assumes that the service personnel performing the troubleshooting are high-level electronic service
technicians who have worked with high-voltage electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of final isolation troubleshooting
techniques is also assumed.
In addition to being technically qualified, maintenance personnel must perform all tests with safety in mind. Refer to the
Safety section for operating precautions and warning formats.
WARNING!
ELECTRIC SHOCK CAN KILL
Disconnect electrical power before performing any maintenance.
Only qualified personnel can work inside the CNC cabinet with AC power connected.
See the Safety section in this manual for more safety precautions.

To avoid damage to the THC and motors, use extreme caution when you select the TEST THC button
or the TEST ALL button on the Drive Diagnostics screen.
