D.6.1 Adjustments
The Adjustment screen shows the links to the optical and mechanical adjustments.

The Focus & Scan Area Adjustments section offers the measurement routines for all
optical adjustments. The content of the subsections remain the same.
With firmware 6.x or higher the order of the subsections have been changed.
The White Balance Adjustments section offers the measurement routines to execute the
white balance and to set the brightness correction.
The Initialize / Deinitialize Device, Hardware Controls & Mechanical Tests section
offers a setup routine for the lamps positions (firmware version up to 5.8x).
The Enhanced Adjustments section offers a setup routine for the gear correction of the
lamps.
General note: It is a well-known fact that the measurements will return different values at
each repetition. The lens motor has a very high resolution and the best
focal point has to be found in the already large focal range, therefore a
variation of 50 – 100 in values is normal.
