The contents of sterile tip/flue packs are sterile, single use only. You can
resterilize unused tips and flues one time.
You have two options for attaching tips to the handpiece:
• Attach the tip on the sterile field.
• Attach the tip before sterilizing the handpiece. If you use this option,
do not change tips on the sterile field. The area under the tip threads
will not be sterile.

Steam sterilize the tip torquing base before each surgical procedure in
which you change tips on the sterile field.
