Connect the Suction Tubing

Setting Up the CUSA EXcel System

CUSA Excel Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator System User’s Guide 5-11

2. Above the green band,

hold the suction tubing

with one hand; with the

other hand, stretch the

tubing into the suction

pinch valve.

3. Connect the green

L-shaped connector on

the suction tube to the

PATIENT port on the

suction canister lid.

The following figure shows the suction system as it looks after successful

setup.
