9. Preventive Maintenance
SPA alignment verification
Verify correct pipette position at the waste well, test tube and test tube depth. Refer to
Chapter 4 Adjustments for the correct procedure.
Fluidic system inspection
1. Run a CONTROL rack with Iris System Cleanser in position 1 and
Iris Diluent in positions 2 and 3.
2.
Run this rack three times to assure the entire fluidic system is
primed with no air bubbles in any lines.
3.
Check all fluidic lines and fittings to verify the absence of leaks.
Optical Bench Verification
1. Enter Service Application Software.
2. Verify the optic positions under VIEW>VIDEO.
3. Use Runfile Analyzer to verify the Flow Cell Tilt. The procedures
of adjusting the optical components are described in Chapter 4.
4. Verify, and adjust if necessary, the optical system collimation.
5.
Verify, and adjust if necessary, the Flow Cell lateral position.
6.
Verify, and adjust if necessary, the Flow Cell tilt.
