9. Preventive Maintenance

200 Preventive Maintenance Procedure.
This document describes Iris Diagnostics’ Preventive Maintenance procedures
for the iQ
®
200.
There are two (2) classes of preventive maintenance: namely the Semi-Annual
Preventive Maintenance and the Annual Certification.
The Semi-Annual Preventive Maintenance should be performed six (6) months
after the installation date or six (6) months after the last Annual Certification
regardless of the number of samples the instrument has processed. The Annual
Certification should be performed six (6) months from the last Semi-Annual
Preventive Maintenance regardless of the number of samples it has processed.
This procedure is written for both Semi-Annual Preventive Maintenance and
Annual Certification. Procedures pertaining only to the Annual Certification are
written in Italic characters.
This procedure must be used in combination with the International Preventive
Maintenance Checklist F-19-0044-rev B for Distribution Partners, or F-19-0043
iQ200 Preventive Maintenance Checklist or F-19-0042 iQ200 Annual
Certification Checklist for Domestic FSE’s. All activities must be recorded on the
appropriate checklist.
