Stop bits—1
DCD state—Disregard
There are two ways to connect and congure an EX Series switch: one method is through the console by
using the CLI and the other is by using the J-Web interface.
NOTE: EX2200-24T-4G-DC switches do not support switch connecon and conguraon
through the J-Web interface.
This topic describes the CLI procedure.
NOTE: To run the ezsetup script, the switch must have the factory-default conguraon as the
acve conguraon. If you have congured anything on the switch and want to run ezsetup,
revert to the factory-default conguraon. See
Reverng to the Default Factory Conguraon
for the EX Series Switch
.
To connect and congure the switch from the console by using the CLI:
1. Connect the console port to a laptop or PC by using the RJ-45 to DB-9 serial port adapter. An
Ethernet cable that has an RJ-45 connector at either end and an RJ-45 to DB-9 serial port adapter
are supplied with the switch. If your laptop doesn't have a serial port, use a serial to USB adapter.
