4.9 Host port connections
4.9.1 Host port details
The host port can be configured for Profibus, Profinet ModbusPlus,
Modbus TCP, DeviceNet, Ethernet IP, Modbus RTU or AB DF1.
In each case, a specific communications card for that protocol is
required and must be installed into the Host port slot on the CPU
circuit card. In the case of Modbus RTU or AB DF1 protocols, the K-
Port1 is used.
