Bass/Left
The BASS function allows you to quickly have different sounds on the keyboard, one to be played
by the right hand, and one to be played by the left hand. Any notes received on the BASS channel
(see MIDI) will play on the BASS part.
When BASS is on, the keyboard is automatically split in two parts:
• the right part will play the VOICE Preset as usual
• the left part will play a different sound (any GM sound). A bass sound is selected by default.
Tap on the BASS ON/OFF button of the VOICE SELECT page to enable the BASS. The BASS
ON/OFF button will turn on and the keyboard will be split.
NB: when BASS is enabled, the volume of the BASS part is controlled by the BASS potentiometer on
the left of the FRONT PANEL.
