16 Firmware Upgrades
Alternately the module update program can be installed with the N7700A
Package Manager.
Detailed instructions for using the module update program are provided in
the readme file installed together with the program.
Note that recent versions of the module update tool are faster but can
have difficulty working with the older A-version mainframes. If possible,
use a B-version mainframe for module updates. Otherwise an older version
of the module update program should be used, like version 2.2.5.6. This is
available on older support CDs or can be requested from Keysight support.

Be sure to study this file before attempting to use the module update
software.
The floppy update procedure for the Keysight 81480A and
81640A/42A/80A/82A Tunable Laser Modules is no longer supported.
Please update your modules via GPIB or a null-modem serial cable as
described above.
