Saving Application Measurement Results to Diskette (not available on later units)
If you are using the 8164A/B Lightwave Measurement System, you can
save application measurement results to diskette by completing the
following instructions:
1 Perform any of the following applications as described above:
• The Logging Application on page 261,
• Figure on page -274, or
• Figure on page -287.
2 Move to the Analysis Screen.
3 Insert a floppy disk in the diskette drive of your 8164A/B Lightwave
Measurement System.
4 Press [Menu].
5 Move to one of the following options:
• <Save Ascii File>, the data will be saved in Ascii-text format, that
can be opened by all text editors.
• <Save CSV File>, the data will be saved in CSV format, that can be
opened by Microsoft Excel.
6Press Enter.The File Name Editor, as shown in Figure 191 on
page -310, appears.
