Keysight EXG and MXG X-Series Signal Generators User’s Guide 11
Models, Options, and Front/Rear Panels for All Models
N5172B/N5182B RF Vector Signal Generators, Options and Features
Vector Firmware Applications
N5172B/82B-003 Digital Output Connectivity with the N5102A
N5172B Requires N5172B-653 ARB Baseband Generator (60 MHz RF bandwidth, 32 Msa)
N5182B Requires N5182B-656 ARB Baseband Generator (80 MHz RF Bandwidth, 32 Msa)
Enables connectivity with the N5102A Digital Signal Interface Module, which provides
digital outputs.
This option activates the rear panel digital I/Q bus and enables connectivity with the
N5102A Digital Signal Interface Module, which provides digital outputs for
Output Operating Mode. In Output Operating Mode, you can deliver realistic
complex-modulated signals such as LTE, GPS, WLAN, custom pulses and many others
directly to your digital devices and subsystems. The N5102A Digital Signal Interface Module
adapts to your device with the logic type, data format, clock features, and signaling required.
N5172B/82B-004 Digital Input Connectivity with the N5102A
N5172B Requires N5172B-653 ARB Baseband Generator (60 MHz RF bandwidth, 32 Msa)
N5182B Requires N5182B-656 ARB Baseband Generator (80 MHz RF Bandwidth, 32 Msa)
Enables connectivity with the N5102A Digital Signal Interface Module, which provides
digital inputs.
This option activates the rear panel digital I/Q bus and enables connectivity with the
N5102A Digital Signal Interface Module, which provides digital inputs for
Input Operating Mode. In Input Operating Mode, the N5102A Digital Signal Interface Module
ports your digital input to the signal generator's baseband system, providing a quick and
easy way of upconverting to calibrated analog I/Q, IF, or RF frequencies. The N5102A Digital
Signal Interface Module adapts to your device with the logic type, data format, clock
features, and signaling required.
N5172B/82B-403 Calibrated AWGN
