Using ILS Marker Beacon Softkeys
To set the ILS Marker Beacon mode to off, inner, middle, or outer
1. Press Aux Fctn > Avionics > Marker Beacon
2. Press Marker Beacon
(Default selection is Off.)
3. Select either: Off | Inner | Middle | Outer
These softkeys select a Marker Beacon Mode and can be one of the following:
— Selecting Off turns off all Marker Beacon signals. When set to Off, all
Marker Beacon parameter settings are turned off.
— Selecting Inner turns on and simulates the Inner Marker Beacon (nominal
3000 Hz modulation) signal.
— Selecting Middle turns on and simulates the Middle Marker Beacon
(nominal 1300 Hz modulation) signal.
— Selecting Outer turns on and simulates the Outer Marker Beacon (nominal
400 Hz modulation) signal.
To set the ILS Marker Beacon carrier frequency
1. Press Aux Fctn > Avionics > Marker Beacon
2. Press Carrier Freq Index
(Default <value> is 17 and corresponds to 75.000 MHz.)
3. Select a <value> from 1 to 33 and press Enter.
These softkeys set the carrier frequency for the three Marker Beacons:
Inner, Middle, and Outer.
The default ILS Marker Beacon carrier frequency Index is 17 and corresponds
to 75.000 MHz.
Setting the mode back to OFF, after selecting one of the other modes
(either: Inner | Middle | Outer) does not turn off the Marker Beacon carrier, specified
by Carrier Freq Index, it is still present on the RF Output of the signal generator.
To turn off this ILS Marker Beacon carrier, set RF On to off.

1=74.600 12=74.875 23=75.150
2=74.625 13=74.900 24=75.175
3=74.650 14=74.925 25=75.200
4=74.675 15=74.950 26=75.225
