Using Avionics VOR/ILS Softkeys for N5171B/72B and N5181B/82B with Option 302
Using ILS Marker Beacon Softkeys
To set the ILS Marker Beacon outer marker frequency
1. Press Aux Fctn > Avionics > Marker Beacon
2. Press Marker Beacon
3. Press Outer
4. Press Marker Freq
(Default <value> is 400 Hz.)
5. Select a <value> in Hz | kHz | MHz | GHz from 0 Hz to 10 MHz.
These softkeys set the frequency for the Outer Marker Beacon.
To set or return the ILS Marker Beacon parameters to a default state
1. Press Aux Fctn > Avionics > Marker Beacon
2. Press More 1 of 2
3. Press Recall Default Settings
These softkeys returns the ILS Marker Beacon parameters to a set of default
state conditions.

Marker Beacon mode Off
Carrier Freq Index 17 75.0 MHz
Marker Freq 400 Hz Outer
Marker Depth 95.0% Up
