4. Press the rotary knob, or press an assist key to fix the setting value. The field
pointer goes in the MOVE status.
If the Voltage Source field is in the EDIT status, turning the rotary knob changes
the display value and updates the voltage source output in real time. However, if
the digit pointer is available, the voltage source works depending on the setting of
real time update. For the real time update, see Immediate Voltage Update by
Knob in “Display Preference Dialog Box” on page 197.
Changing the Field Setting Using the Digit Pointer
1. Turn the rotary knob to move the field pointer to the alpha/numeric value entry
field to be edited.
2. Press the rotary knob to fix the field to be edited. The field pointer goes in the
EDIT status.
3. Press the Coarse Res, Fine Res, Save or Recall key to change the field pointer
to the digit pointer.
4. Press the Coarse Res, Fine Res, Save or Recall key to move the digit pointer to
a character or digit to be edited.
5. Turn the rotary knob, or press the Range or Range key to change the value
of the character or digit.
Note that changing the value from 9 to 0 or from 0 to 9 changes the value of
the next digit.
6. Press the rotary knob, or press an assist key to fix the setting value. The field
pointer goes in the MOVE status.
If the digit pointer is on the decimal point of a numeric value entry field, turning
the knob or pressing the Range /Range key moves the decimal point if the real
time update is OFF. For the real time update, see Immediate Voltage Update by
