This is the source setup condition after

Resistive Limit State Voltage source output resistor (20 M)
connection, ON (serial connection) or OFF
(no connection)
Sweep Dialog Box
(B2985B/B2987B) This dialog box provides the following parameters for setting
details of the sweep source operation.
Sweep Ranging Ranging mode used for the sweep source operation, BEST or
FIXED. See Table 4-7 on page 174.
Sweep Direction Sweep direction, UP (start to stop direction) or DOWN (stop to
start direction)
Output after
Sweep The value the source channel applies after it completes the
sweep output
START VALUE (START): The source channel changes the output
to the DC output value just before applying the sweep output
start value.
END VALUE (END): The source channel keeps the output value
when the sweep output is stopped.

(B2985B/B2987B) This dialog box provides the following parameters for setting
the measurement operation and connection.
Description
BEST The sweep source channel automatically uses the minimum range which covers the
whole sweep output.
FIXED The sweep source channel sets the range specified by the range parameter Spot
Source Range. See “Range Setup Sub-panel” on page 151.
