Keysight B2980 Series
Keysight B2980 series provides the products listed below. Differences between
models are summarized in Table 1-1.
• B2981B Femto/Picoammeter
• B2983B Femto/Picoammeter with Battery
Ammeter for ultra low DC current measurement in atto ampere resolution
• B2985B Electrometer/High Resistance Meter
• B2987B Electrometer/High Resistance Meter with Battery
All in one instrument supporting the functions of DC voltage source, voltmeter,
ammeter, electrometer, and high resistance meter. This instrument also
performs staircase/list sweep voltage output, square wave voltage output,
temperature measurement, and humidity measurement.
The B2983B/B2987B has built-in Lithium-ion battery. Using it without connecting
to AC power line is effective for realizing low noise measurement.
The B2980 has LCD, front panel keys, and rotary knob for controlling it alone. It
also supports several functions, such as limit test, trace buffer, math expressions,
and graph plot.
The SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) commands are
available for performing automatic measurement using an external computer.
The B2980 is a LAN eXtended Interface Core compliant instrument.
