Voltage Source (B2985B/B2987B)
List Sweep Output
The list sweep function is effective for performing an arbitrary waveform output.
For example, the voltage source can apply the waveform as shown in Figure 5-5,
and the B2985B/B2987B can perform the measurement at each output value. The
source output and the measurement can be performed in the minimum interval
100 s.
The voltage source output and measurement timing is controlled by the trigger
system. And the interval can be set to a constant value if the trigger type is set to
TIMER.
To set the trigger system, see “Trigger Setup Sub-panel” on page 157. The trigger
interval is set by the Period parameter. The number of output values is set by the
Count parameter.
To set the voltage source output values, use the List Sweep dialog box. See “List
sweep setup” on page 154.
Figure 5-5 shows an example setup of the List Sweep dialog box with an image of
the output waveform.
To set the voltage output range, use the Spot Source Range field, see “Range
Setup Sub-panel” on page 151.
