Hard Keys and Rotary Knob
Key Functions for Changing the Settings
When you change the parameter values on the fields, various keys perform the
following functions.

If the assist keys show units for the setting value, press one of them to fix the
setting value with the used unit.
If the assist keys show the alternatives for the field setting, press one of them to
select and fix the setting.
Changing the Field Setting Using the Field Pointer
1. Turn the rotary knob to move the field pointer to the field to be edited.
2. Press the rotary knob to fix the field to be edited. The field pointer goes in the
EDIT status.
3. Turn the rotary knob, or press the Range  or Range  key to change the
setting value.

In the MOVE Status In the EDIT status
Turning the rotary knob Moves the field pointer. Changes the setting value.
Pressing the rotary knob Fixes the field to be edited, and changes
into the EDIT status.
Fixes the setting value, and changes into
the MOVE status.
Pressing the Range  or
Range  key

• Changes the setting value.
• Moves the pointer and selects
a character on the helper
panel.
Pressing the Coarse Res, Fine
Res, Save or Recall key

• Changes to the digit pointer.
• Moves the digit pointer.
Pressing the Cancel/Local
key

Cancels the change of the setting before
fixing the setting value.
