Measurement Range
Automatic Ranging Speed
The following two speeds are available for the measurement auto range mode.
• Normal
Performs the basic auto-ranging operation. The channel automatically sets the
range which provides the best resolution in performing the measurement.
• Fast
For performing high throughput measurement, reduces observation time to
determine measurement range. This setup can be used when the
measurement signal noise (superposed from AC power, etc.) is low.
This mode setting is available in the current, charge, voltage, and resistance
measurement modes if the auto range is set.
Setting the Ranging Mode
• To set the ranging mode and the measurement range, see “Range Setup
Sub-panel” on page 151.
• To set the automatic ranging speed, see “Config Key Group” on page 171.
