I/O Key Group
I/O Key Group
Press the I/O key to display the following softkeys for setting the I/O interfaces.
Format Displays the five softkeys for setting the data output format. See “Data Output
Format” on page 191.
LAN Displays the following softkeys for managing the LAN interface.
Config Displays the LAN Configuration dialog box used to set the
configuration of the LAN interface. See “LAN Configuration
Dialog Box” on page 193.
Status Displays the LAN Status dialog box which displays the status of
the LAN interface.
Reset Resets all of the LAN connections.
Defaults Sets the LAN settings to the factory default settings.
Press the Reset softkey or the Defaults softkey to display a confirmation dialog
box. Press the OK softkey to confirm the specified action, or press the
Cancel/Local key to cancel the action.
USB Displays the USB Status dialog box.
Easy File Access File access function setup, ON (enable) or OFF (disable).
When this is set to ON, restart this instrument. When you use
this function, connect this instrument to a PC using a USB
cable. See “File Access Function (Easy File Access)” on
page 243.
Text display field Displays the VISA USB connect string.
Example: USB0::10893::39681::MY12345678::0::INSTR
GPIB Displays the GPIB Configuration dialog box.
Address Sets the GPIB address of the B2980.
Text display field Displays the VISA GPIB connect string.
Example: GPIB0::23::INSTR
