Real-time Noise Monitor
Real-time Noise Monitor
This section explains about the Real-time Noise Monitor.
The real-time noise monitor shows current noise under your current environment
and condition for the current measurement. Current noise is background
measured, and it is shown on the graph in real time.
You can check the following matters using the real-time noise monitor in order to
improve your current measurement environment and condition.
• Influence for current measurement by external noise
• Noise reducing effect
After completing the whole current measurement setup, start the real-time noise
monitor.
To start the real-time noise monitor, press the Show Noise assist key on the Meter
view.

The real-time noise monitor displays the following.
• Present current measurement range
• Y axis: Variance (in A) with logarithmic scaling. (100 aA-100 pA Fixed)
• X axis: Aperture time (in PLC) with logarithmic scaling.
• Horizontal line (yellow): Measured current level
• Vertical line (yellow): Present aperture time setting
• Green area: Current noise level
To close it, press the Hide Noise assist key.
