How to Perform Measurement
Current Measurement
For more precise measurement, use the zero correction or offset cancel. See “Null,
Offset Cancel” on page 210.
Setup integrity checker
You can easily check the noise level of the measurement path such as cabling and
connection by pressing the Apps function key and the #1 assist key.
For more information and using this function, see “Applications” on page 145.
Data logger
You can easily perform measurements like a sampling measurement by pressing
the Apps function key and the #2 assist key.

Setup Parameters
This section briefly describes how to set key parameters effective for accurate and
reliable current measurement.
Measure Amps
Press the RANGE function key to change the ranging mode, auto or fixed. Where,
the softkey label shows the present measurement range setting, AUTO or fixed
range value.
Measurement range can be set by using the following navigation keys.
Range + Sets the fixed range mode and changes the range up.
[home] Sets the AUTO range and the Normal auto aperture.
Range Sets the fixed range mode and changes the range down.

Aperture Time
Press the SPEED function key to change the aperture mode, auto or manual.
Where, the softkey label shows the present aperture time setting.
Aperture time can be set by using the following navigation keys.
Coarse Res Increases measurement speed (decreases aperture time).
