Front Panel Reference
Config Key Group
Analog Signal Output Measurement mode that is applied to the
analog output function, IM (current), VM
(voltage), or QM (charge). See “Analog
Output” on page 215.
Voltage Measure Inner Shield Inner shield connection of the Voltmeter
input connector, CCOM (circuit common) or
GUARD (guard). See “Voltage
Measurement” on page 94.
Measure Filter Dialog Box
This dialog box provides the following parameters for setting the measurement
filter.
Median Filter
(Current) Median filter, ON or OFF
On the B2985B/B2987B, it is effective for the current and
charge measurements.
Set an integer of 0 to 15 for the Rank field if this filter is ON.
Moving Average
(All) Moving average filter, ON or OFF
Set the number of samples (n integer of 1 to 100) to the Count
field if this filter is ON.
Note that the Measure Filter dialog box opened by pressing the Filter key on the
front panel cannot be used for changing ON/OFF of each filter.

Wait Control Dialog Box
(B2985B/B2987B) This dialog box provides the following parameters for setting
the source and measurement wait time, that are available for the Source and
Measure columns.
The source wait time is defined as the time the source channel cannot change the
output after the start of a DC output.
The measurement wait time is defined as the time the measurement channel
cannot start measurement after the start of a DC output.
State Wait time, ON or OFF
Automatic Automatic wait time, ON or OFF
