Example 1 Shielding Effect for the 1.5 m Triaxial Cable
This example compares the case with connecting the Triaxial cable only (the left
side in the figure) and the case with connecting the Triaxial cable and the shield
case that is connected to the chassis (the right side in the figure, the core wire and
inner shield of Triaxial cable are open). In the comparison, the noise checking was
performed 5 times and the average of the results is calculated in both cases.
The average of Variance Ratio seems to be improved by about 2/3 due to the
shielding effect.

20 pA range
