Function Details
Math Expression
Math Expression
B2980 provides a math function for performing calculations using the
measurement result data. The calculation result can be displayed and used for the
limit test and trace statistics.
For the predefined math expressions, see “Predefined Math Expressions.”
To define a math expression, see the Keysight B2980 series SCPI Command
Reference. Math expressions can be defined by using the :CALC:MATH
commands. For resources effective for the expression, see “Resources Used in the
Expressions” on page 226.
To use the math function, see “Math Expression Dialog Box” on page 177.
To display the calculation result, see “Graph View” on page 160 and “Measure
Result Dialog Box” on page 185.
Predefined Math Expressions
The following math expressions have already been defined in B2980. The
predefined math expressions are not cleared by the power off and on operations.
Scaling and offset (MXPLUSB)
Reciprocal scaling and offset (MRECPXPLUSB)
Ratio calculation (RATIO)
Percentage calculation (PERCENT)
Deviation calculation (DEVIATION)
Percent deviation (PERDIV)
Logarithmic calculation, base 10 (LOG10)
Polynominal calculation (POLYNOMINAL)
Sheet resistivity (SRESISTIVITY)
Volume resistivity (VRESISTIVITY)
Power (POWER)
Offset Compensated Ohms (OFFCOMPOHM)
