I/O Key Group
DIO Configuration Dialog Box
This dialog box provides the following parameters for setting the configuration of
the Digital I/O interface.
Pin # Digital I/O pin number, 1 to 7
This field specifies the pin set by this dialog box.
Function Function of the specified pin of the Digital I/O interface,
DIGITAL I/O (digital signal input/output), DIGITAL IN (digital
signal input), TRIGGER OUT (trigger output), or TRIGGER IN
(trigger input)
Polarity Polarity of the input/output function, POSITIVE (POS., positive)
or NEGATIVE (NEG., negative)
Output Trigger
Type Type of output trigger, EDGE (edge) or LEVEL (level)
Output Trigger
Timing Timing of the output trigger, AFTER (after action (arm, trigger,
and device action)), BEFORE (before action), or BOTH (both)
Output Pulse
Width Pulse width of the output trigger, 10 s to 10 ms

DIO Read/Write Dialog Box
This dialog box provides the following parameters for reading or writing a value set
to the Digital I/O interface.
Format Format of the value set to the Mask Value field and the Value
field, BIN (binary), DEC (decimal), or HEX (hexadecimal)
Mask Value Mask value which indicates the pattern of the un-used bits of
the Digital I/O interface
The READ assist key is used to read the mask value presently
set to the Digital I/O interface.
The WRITE assist key is used to set the specified mask value to
the Digital I/O interface.
Value Value set to the Digital I/O interface
