Working with Battery
Before Using Battery
Built-in Charge Level LED
Each lithium ion battery has an LED gauge that displays its charge level. The
gauge is active unless the battery is in shutdown mode.
To view the LED gauge, press the Push button on the battery. See image on the
previous page.
For more information on the battery, see manual furnished with the battery
(Keysight N1418A).
To Install Battery
1. Turn the instrument off and remove the power cord from the instrument.
2. Remove the battery compartment cover.
Push the stopper of the cover and pull off the cover.
3. Insert the battery.
Face the battery top to the roof, contact the battery terminals to the terminals
in the compartment properly, and push the battery from the strap side. The
battery will be slid into the compartment.
4. Attach the compartment cover.
Set the hook of the cover to the slit of the compartment and push the cover.
To Remove Battery
1. Turn the instrument off and remove the power cord from the instrument.
2. Remove the battery compartment cover.
Push the stopper of the cover and pull off the cover.
3. Remove the battery.
Press the stopper in the compartment and pull off the battery with the strap.
4. Attach the compartment cover.
Set the hook of the cover to the slit of the compartment and push the cover.
