Adjusting Toe-in
1. Park the tractor on a flat place.
2. Turn steering wheel so front wheels are in the straight ahead
position.
3. Lower the implement, lock the park brake and stop the engine.
4. Measure distance between tire beads at front of tire, hub height.
5. Measure distance between tire beads at rear of tire, hub height.
6. Front distance should be 2 to 8 mm (0.079 to 0.315 in.) less than
rear distance.
■ Adjusting
[4WD]
1. Detach the snap ring (1).
2. Loosen the tie-rod nut (2).
3. Turn the tie-rod joint to adjust the rod length until the proper toe-
in measurement is obtained.
4. Retighten the tie-rod nut (2).
5. Attach the snap ring of the tie-rod joint (3).
[2WD]
1. Detach the snap ring (1).
2. Loosen the tie-rod nut (2).
3. Turn the tie-rod joint to adjust the rod length until the proper toe-
in measurement is obtained.
4. Retighten the tie-rod nut (2) and rod mounting screw.
5. Attach the snap ring of the tie-rod joint (3).
• A right and left tie-rod joint is adjusted to the same length.
