2.4.2 Control function keys
By means of the function keys (B1 - B8) on the control panel, a number
of milking robot functions are controlled.
(B1) Pipeline blowing
(B2) Milk separation
(B3) Feeding
(B4) Reset
(B5) Milk pump
(B6) Cleaning of separation pipeline
(B7) Out of operation
(B8) (no function)
Key (B1) Pipeline blowing
Blowing of the milk delivery line with built-in filter (where fitted) between the robot
and the milk tank proceeds as long as you continue to press this key.
Key (B2) Milk separation
This key is used for operating the valve to the separation milk tube. The valve to
the separation milk tube remains in an open position as long as you continue to
press the key. The milk is pumped away through the separation milk tube allowing
you to let the milk flow away or to collect it in a container. If you press the milk
pump key (B5) at the same time, the milk receiving jar is manually pumped empty
through the separation milk tube. Please be aware that in this case the value for
the registered milk yield is no longer correct.
Key (B3) Feeding
By means of the feeding key (B3) feed motor no. 1 can be activated. The feed
motor allocates a portion every 20 seconds and switches off after the cow has left
the box, or after approximately 10 minutes if the cow remains in the box longer. If
feeding is activated manually, the LED in the push button will start to burn. If
feeding is actuated by means of the T4C/X-pert system, the LED will not burn.
Manual feeding overrules control from the T4C/X-pert system. Feeding can be
disengaged by pressing the feeding key (B3) once again.
Key (B4) RESET
This key is used to start up the robot again after a power cut caused by an
emergency stop (STOP-button) or a main power failure.
Key (B5) Milk pump
This key is used to manually pump away the milk in the milk receiving jar. Please
be aware that in this case the registered value for the milk yield is no longer
correct. The milk is pumped away as long as you continue to press the button.
